Project Overview

Crowd Farming Box dApp – From Farm to Front Door, Powered by UneedPi

The Crowd Farming Box dApp connects small-scale farmers directly with consumers through a decentralized, Pi-based ecosystem. This system empowers local growers to pack fresh produce into standardized boxes and deliver them directly to Pi users' homes using the Pailot logistics service.

From the intuitive in-app ordering process, to field-level harvesting, box assembly, and last-mile delivery, the entire supply chain is transparently managed within the Pi Network ecosystem

Country Manager like Oble Jose collaborate with the ONA Community (Còte d`Ivoire) to fulfill customer orders.

Every box is packed with care, transported efficiently, and paid for entirely in Pi Coin.

This initiative, powered by UNEEDPI, is more than just food delivery – it’s a model for fair trade, digital inclusion, and decentralized commerce.

Pi Network
Farmer

Role of the Farmer in the Crowd Farming Box Ecosystem

The Farmer

plays a central role in the Crowd Farming Box Project

As a local agricultural partner, their responsibility is to cultivate fresh, high-quality produce using sustainable methods.

Once the crops are harvested, the farmer carefully selects and packs the freshest fruits and vegetables into Crowd Farming Boxes, which are then prepared for direct delivery through Pailot to consumers.

By participating in the project, farmers gain direct access to digital markets, receive fair compensation in Pi, and become part of a global, community-driven supply chain.

Pi Network
Pailot

Role of Pailot in the Crowd Farming Box Ecosystem

Pailot

acts as the official logistics and delivery partner within the Crowd Farming Box dApp system. Pailot was specifically developed for the Pi Network ecosystem and ensures that every box of fresh produce reaches its destination efficiently and safely.

As soon as a Pi user places an order via the dApp, Pailot takes over the last-mile delivery. Using environmentally friendly means of transport such as scooters and small vans, Pailot picks up the pre-packed boxes directly from the farmers or a central collection point and delivers them to the customer's doorstep.

Pailot is more than just a courier service: it embodies the values of decentralization, local empowerment, and reliability. All delivery transactions are processed via Pi Payments, thus closing the loop of a fully digital, blockchain-powered food distribution network.

With its strong presence in rural and urban areas, Pailot bridges the gap between sustainable agriculture and digital commerce – one box at a time.

Pi Community
Country Manager

Role and Responsibilities of the Country Manager

The Country Manager

plays a key leadership role in the regional implementation of the Crowd Farming Box project and ensures smooth operations in the areas of agriculture, logistics, community engagement, and reporting.

As the direct interface between UNEEDPI headquarters and the local ecosystem, the Country Manager ensures quality, transparency, and impact on the ground.

Core Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance
Monitors the harvesting, packaging, and storage of fresh produce. Ensures that each box meets the quality standards set by UNEEDPI and is suitable for delivery to Pi users.

Farmer Coordination
Works closely with local farmers and cooperatives to support training, onboarding, and participation in the program. Assists farmers in receiving and using Pi payments securely.

Community Engagement and Education
Organizes regular workshops to educate the community about the Crowd Farming Box model, sustainable agriculture, and digital Pi trading.

Logistics Monitoring (Pailot Coordination)
Coordinates with Pailot drivers and teams to manage the last-mile delivery system. Ensures the timely collection and efficient forwarding of agricultural crates.

Reporting & Analysis
Collects local data and prepares regular reports on agricultural performance, customer satisfaction, and Pi-based transactions for submission to UNEEDPI.

Problem Resolution & Conflict Resolution
Handles all issues arising at the local level—from delivery problems to disputes with farmers—with professionalism and diligence.

Project Expansion & Local Partnerships
Identifies new regions and farming communities that can be integrated into the project and supports the development of partnerships with NGOs, farming networks, and local authorities.

UneedPi

The Role of UNEEDPI in the Crowd Farming Box Project

UNEEDPI

is the core engine behind the development, coordination, and global rollout of the Crowd Farming Box Project.

As a Pi Network-driven innovation hub, UNEEDPI is responsible for designing a decentralized infrastructure that bridges local agriculture, blockchain-based commerce, and community-led logistics.

Key Responsibilities of UNEEDPI:

Technical Development
UNEEDPI designs and maintains the Crowd Farming Box dApp, hosted within the Pi Network ecosystem. This includes the user interface, Pi payment integration, order processing systems, and smart contract functionality.

Global Coordination
The organization oversees the international rollout of the project by appointing Country Managers, such as Oble Jose in Ivory Coast, to lead on-the-ground operations and coordinate with local farmers, cooperatives, and logistic partners.

Ecosystem Building
UNEEDPI brings together stakeholders from various professions, including developers, designers, translators, logisticians, and sustainability experts – to build a collaborative network that functions across cultural and geographical boundaries.

Logistics Integration
Through the creation and support of the Pailot delivery system, UNEEDPI ensures that fresh produce packed by farmers reaches Pi users directly, closing the loop from farm to table.

Capacity Building & Training
UNEEDPI organizes training sessions, onboarding workshops, and community education programs to ensure that local participants understand and benefit from blockchain technologies and decentralized trade.

Transparency & Reporting
The organization handles all reporting structures, collects performance data from each region, and ensures that every step – from harvest to delivery – is documented, accountable, and traceable.

In essence, UNEEDPI is the architect and enabler of a decentralized agricultural revolution powered by the Pi Network – making sustainable commerce accessible, fair, and community-driven.
